* Movie Clip - Grand Finale
*
Grand Finale of the 2007 UK Boogie Woogie
Festival, where *ALL* the artists get together to make an exciting, feel-good
ending to the evenings concert performance. Far too many musicians and
performers to list individually here {at least 16 if you try and count them!!}.
Boogie Woogie Piano Duets are always
great crowd-pleasers at the UK Festival, and they don't come much better than
when played by The Piano Brothers, Marcel and Heinz Brunner from Switzerland.
The chemistry between the two brothers out on stage is terriffic to watch!
It's fair to say that Jack 'Kid' Carters
breath taking Boogie Woogie Piano playing is perhaps best described as 'fast
and furious' - but as you will see on the video, it's a great style and real
crowd pleaser! Local musician Howard Meyrick does his best to keep up on the
Saxophone.
Workshops and Masterclasses are an
important part of the Festival and this Movie shows highlights of both the
Boogie Woogie Piano Masterclass and Drum Workshop. Julian Phillips gave the
Piano Class, whilst Jon Neilson offered up lots of good advice in his Drums
Workshop.
At the Fiddleford Inn, Boogie Woogie
Piano playing continued into the early hours of the morning. In this video
clip, 'Big John Carter', a Boogie Fan from London, stepped up 'out of the
crowd' and played some great traditional Blues with Eeco Rijken Rapp on the
second piano.
