Welcome to
UKBoogieWoogie.com, the new
Official Website of the Dorset based Boogie Woogie Club with regular monthly
Meetings and a spectacular annual summer weekend International Festival.

The
UK Boogie
Woogie Festival is held every year in July and attracts many
of the worlds best Pianists, who offer up a fabulous melting pot of true
old-time Boogie Woogie and Blues Piano Music.

The organisers, all local to the town of
Sturminster Newton where the event is held, recognise that as well as being a
truly great International event that draws people from far and wide, it is also
a very important community event with considerable local support.

The UK Boogie Woogie
Club has been launched as a kind of 'Supporters Club', with
regular monthly meetings and events held during the year at The Exchange in
Sturminster Newton.
|
|
Club nights will nearly always include
informal evenings of live Boogie Woogie and Blues Music, with resident
pianist/vocalist Julian Phillips, and also other specially invited Guest
Artists.
